The Australian Tractor Pull Championships

Held at Quambatook

Easter Saturday 23rd April 2011

The Quambatook Tractor Pullers Association proudly presents the 35th annual Tractor Pull.    For decades families from all walks of life have amassed the countries greatest event on the pulling calendar.

This spectacular event, unique to Quambatook, will explode on Easter Saturday as power hungry, highly modified tractors and trucks battle it out for the prized Australian Tractor Pull Championship titles.

Competitors will take off the rev limiters and scream the RPM’s.  Methanol, Nitros, Diesel & high octane fuels will hit your senses, while tractors & trucks thunder down the track in an earth shaking program.

The flag drops and the excitement starts at 1.30pm and will keep your heart pumping until approximately 10pm.   Full catering is available throughout the whole day with bar facilities on site.

Entertainment is provided for young and old with a country market displaying a variety of stalls, carnival rides and joy flights over Quambatook and local area. There is definitely something for everyone.

The Pulling program will kick off with the vintage tractors, followed by the highly modified Pulling machines, the Open class will see ‘Riverina Screamer’ - Rolls Royce V12, ‘Murray Muncha’ - Allison V12 and triple big block chev. engines powering ‘Plum Crazy’.   This is only a small part of the great program.

As we have come to expect at this event, there will be great battles in the Mini and Open Mini modified classes with a new comer from South Australia ”Blown Income” with a 540ci TFX Hemi up against the class and experience of ‘Flat Broke’ and ‘New Blood’.  These creations just seem to get better every year.

Smoker class will see the new tractor ‘Wicked Whitetail’ attempt to snatch its first title and in the 2WD Trucks the new owner of ‘Dirty Deeds’ has put the truck back on the track, both are sure to heat up the competition.  Super Modified, Limited Modified, 4WD and 2WD Farm Tractors, Junior Pulling Mowers and the Big Rigs will hook to the sled and show their strength.

There is nowhere else in Australia you can see equipment pushed to the max with a variety in powerful machines giving their all.

An evening tea break approximately 6.30pm allows spectators a chance to getup close and personal” with the tractors, drivers and pit crew.

During the break fans will get to experience the breath taking Whip Industries Minibike Freestyle display with highflying tricks performed over specially designed jump ramps that send the riders into the air where they perform the biggest and most up to date tricks. The track area will also be the stage for Mower Pulling action.

A visit from the Easter Bunny is a feature that kids of all ages will enjoy.

A designated ‘dry area’ top off an already brilliant atmosphere that guarantees your family a safe and relaxing day out!

The purpose built Quambatook Tractor Pulling complex is renowned as the best track for competitors and spectators alike.   It is twenty years since the  complex was commenced  and it is an ongoing development, so come and check it out!
