DMR/WICKED QUICK/HI-TEC OILS TOP FUEL DRAGSTER

DOWNSIZES FOR 2008 

MILDURA, VIC (NOV 12, 2007) -  Some of the hottest diecast collectables available today have been the Top Fuel dragsters produced to satisfy the huge and hungry US collectors market. Aussie drag racing fans are starved for diecast models of their favourite drivers, there have been attempts, but nothing with the detail and quality to impress a fastidious collector. “We are going to change that” said Darren Morgan.

A prototype of the Wicked Quick/Hi Tec Oils Top Fuel Dragster has been produced and is on schedule for a March 2008 release. Orders are being taken now, with a limited edition of 1000 pieces they are sure to sell out prior to hitting the shops. Manufactured by Milestone Developments, the 55cm dragster will feature over 350 individual parts, full graphics, custom box art, certificate and individually numbered.

“This is a first for Australia, you can buy a high quality V8 Supercar - why not a dragster? We have aimed this piece straight at the hard core fan, someone who identifies quality over quantity and can appreciate the value of the model. For our corporate race partners and investors, this model can be displayed in board rooms with pride.” added Darren. 

“For the last 10 years or so many major US companies have been promoting their brands and building product loyalty using drag racing diecast in special offers or incentives, we see no reason why the Australian market should be any different. Aussie drag racing fans are loyal to their heroes and to the sponsors who support them. Budweiser, Miller, UPS, US Army and Faberge use drag racing diecast as a way to interact with the fans, and we are offering the same service here. We can custom order a run of dragsters or funny cars in sponsor graphics to be used as premiums or sales incentives, it is pretty much that simple”

Darren went on to say “This is the first of our diecast collectable range, we are inviting companies to participate in these programs which will include future Top Fuel designs, the 1957 Chevy Funny Car and remote control vehicles”
